ABOUT US & OUR FOUNDER

TrustAVeteran.com was founded by Tony, who conceived the idea during a challenging period in his life and career. After serving 35 years in the British Army, Tony was medically discharged in 2023 due to a mental health condition, which developed as a result of poor career management during the COVID pandemic. Before this, Tony had no history of mental health issues. Like many others during that time, the isolation brought on by the pandemic had a profound impact.

Faced with the uncertainty of leaving the Army, Tony recognised the need for a new purpose. In 2021, he launched VeteransWithVans.com to prepare for life after service. The concept behind Veterans With Vans was simple: create an “off-the-shelf” brand for veteran tradespeople to help them stand out in a crowded market of white vans. The immediate success of the business was a pivotal moment for Tony—it was clear that customers were keen to hire veterans, especially given the 2 million+ veterans in the UK and their extended families.

The combination of trust, a strong work ethic, and fair pricing proved to be a winning formula. This led to the launch of Trust A Veteran in 2024. Tony has worked hard to keep costs low to make the platform accessible to every Veteran in Business.

With ongoing monthly advertisements through the website and social media, Tony is committed to growing the platform and believes in the power of collective strength. The more veterans who join, the more visibility and opportunities there will be for everyone. Thank you for supporting this initiative and for believing in the mission. We are Stronger Together!
