Military Background
I joined the Army Junior School of Music in 1989 as a cornet player, serving in the 15/19th Hussars, 1 RTR, Royal Signals Band, Royal Lancers, and Royal Artillery. My career took me across Europe, Bosnia, Kosovo, Cyprus, and a highlight tour in Japan (1997). Thanks to the Army, I earned a degree, became a primary school teacher, and proudly finished my service as a Sergeant.
