You’re used to handling things yourself — but this one isn’t shifting. If past support didn’t work, it may not have been the right approach.
I help people stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break — alcohol and other drugs, gambling, porn, gaming, or coping habits that have taken up more space than you want them to.
You don’t need a label. You don’t need to hit rock bottom. You just need a way forward that fits you.

More about his military career:
𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 - There is a certain pace and pressure to life in the Royal Navy that stays with you. I spent seven years serving as a Tactical Radio Operator on HMS Scylla and HMS Minerva, with additional time on HMS Hermes and HMS Illustrious. It was a role that demanded focus, discipline, and the ability to stay steady under pressure.
You learn quickly how to think clearly, rely on the people around you, and keep going when conditions are not easy.
Leaving that environment is not always straightforward. For many, transitioning out of service means losing the structure, routine, identity, and shared understanding that military life provides. When those anchors shift, it’s easy for coping patterns to build quietly in the background.
That experience is one of the reasons I moved into addiction counselling and behaviour change support. Alongside lived experience, I hold a Professional Diploma in Addiction Counselling and have worked with people facing complex, real‑world challenges. I continue to develop my practice through ongoing training and reflective work.
What I offer now is direct, thoughtful support for people who want to understand what is happening beneath the surface and begin changing it in a way that is realistic, sustainable, and grounded in lived experience.
You will not be judged. You will not be handed a script. You will be working with someone who understands pressure, transition, self‑reliance, and how easily things can drift off course when life changes shape.

Military Background
Chris is a Royal Navy veteran, having spent seven years as a Tactical Radio Operator on HMS Scylla and HMS Minerva, with additional time on HMS Hermes and HMS Illustrious. It was a role that required focus, discipline, and the ability to stay steady under pressure.
In that environment, you learn quickly how to think clearly, trust the people around you, and keep going when conditions are far from easy — skills that continue to shape his work and approach today.
