Gavin is a British Army veteran having served for 24 years, he achieved the rank of WO1 (SSM). Throughout his career, he spent the majority of his service with 5 Airborne Brigade, where he completed P Coy, and with 3 Commando Brigade, Devon, where he successfully completed the All Arms Commando Course.

Gavin was absolutely fantastic, coming out to us at short notice, to get our cat down from a very high tree, when the RSPCA and fire service weren't interested.
Top bloke, and all the more appreciated, given that he had to handle her down, and is allergic to cats.
